ATLANTIS LIVES |

Submergence of Atlantis was partial and not complete |

O Solon, Solon, you Hellenes
(Greeks) are never anything
but children, and there is not an old man among you. Solon in return
asked him what he meant. I mean to say, he replied, that in mind you
are all young; there is no old opinion handed down among you by
ancient tradition, nor any science which is hoary with age. And I
will tell you why. There have been, and will be again, many
destructions of mankind arising out of many causes; the greatest
have been brought about by the agencies of fire and water, and other
lesser ones by innumerable other causes. There is a story, which
even you have preserved, that once upon a time Paethon, the son of
Helios, having yoked the steeds in his father's chariot, because he
was not able to drive them in the path of his father, burnt up all
that was upon the earth, and was himself destroyed by a thunderbolt.
Now this has the form of a myth, but really signifies a declination
of the bodies moving in the heavens around the earth, and a great
conflagration of things upon the earth, which recurs after long
intervals; at such times those who live upon the mountains and in
dry and lofty places are more liable to destruction than those who
dwell by rivers or on the seashore. And from this calamity the Nile,
who is our never-failing saviour, delivers and preserves us. When,
on the other hand, the gods purge the earth with a deluge of water,
the survivors in your country are herdsmen and shepherds who dwell
on the mountains, but those who, like you, live in cities are
carried by the rivers into the sea. Whereas in this land, neither
then nor at any other time, does the water come down from above on
the fields, having always a tendency to come up from below; for
which reason the traditions preserved here are the most ancient. |

So far, we are focusing on Atlantis Written texts in blue letters are additional to prove my theory that Atlantis was not completely overwhelmed but partly because the information we have from the ancient texts on the theogogy of Hesiod from where Hesiod learn from the Helikonians muses, they have a direct relationship with Atlantis |

Ancient Greeks had full awareness of the existence of land beyond the Atlantic Ocean |

We read Hesiod: translation lines 284 - 285 - 286: Pegasus flew over the land, the mother land of flock of cows, and came to the immortal Gods and dwelt near Zeus (Zeus God of rain) given him the lightening and the thunder. (Here is made clear that Pegasus is a cloud who brings lightening and thunder). |

We read Hesiod: translation lines 319 - 325: Chimera who breaths out illimitable fire, great, frightening and swift, she had 3 heads one of a lion, one of a goat, and one of snake like dragon, in front lion, at the back dragon, and in the middle goat, and she breaths out tremendous force of fire. She was defeated by Pegasus and the gentle Vellerofontis (he tamed Pegasus), (Chimera= extreme whether conditions winter, very hot summer). [Pegasus the cloud extinguishes the fire with rain.] |

The island group of Bahamas (Spanish bajamar,"shallow water"), occupies an irregular submarine tableland that rises out of the Atlantic depths and is separated from nearby lands to the south and west by deepwater channels. Lying to the north of Cuba and Hispaniola, the archipelago comprises nearly 700 islands and cays (small islands), only 22 of which are occupied. [Excerpt taken from Encyclopedia Britannica] |

The Gulf Stream, warm current of the North Atlantic Ocean, flowing in a generally north-eastern direction from the Straits of Florida to the Grand Banks, east and south of Newfoundland Island. The term is often extended to include the North Atlantic Drift, which flows from the Grand Banks to the shores of western Europe, Scandinavia, and the eastern islands of the Arctic Ocean. The Gulf Stream is of great climatological importance because of its moderating effects on the climate of western Europe.

Placing an island anywhere in the Atlantic
will not block the stream, but only between Florida and Cuba. |

The Atlanteans who were rulers of the Atlantic Ocean would have conquered almost all the coasts of Africa and Europe from present-day Spain and Portugal and the British Isles, so it was very easy to invade the Mediterranean each and every time, that did not prevent them from dominating the other side of Atlantis in the Pacific Ocean as we will see below.

Aotearoa is
the Maori name for the country of New Zealand. The literal
translation of Aotearoa is "land of the long white cloud". |

New Zealand has been inhabited by Maori since approximately 1300 AD. Dutch navigator Abel Tasman was the first European to discover New Zealand during his voyage of 1642–43, although he never set foot on the land. In 1769 the explorer James Cook arrived in New Zealand and claimed it for Great Britain, but it wasn't until the late 1700s that the first Europeans began to settle in New Zealand. |
