The clay Phaistos Disc is the most debated
ancient written text in the world. The disc contains a model
example of the Old Palace hieroglyphic script.
242 signs or symbols on both sides of the disc exhibit that the big number
of symbols causing confusion and difficulty for the people to learn. As
time went on this symbols gradually reduced.
